Franciscus & Franciscus over Curaçao
In het voorjaar van 2014 werd F. Franciscus benaderd door Tirzo Martha. Martha was één van de vier scouts voor het staatsieportret van koning Willem Alexander en zeer geïnteresseerd geraakt in het werk van Franciscus en van zijn partner Rienus Gündel Franciscus door de kruisbestuiving van de onderwerpen uit en de techniek van klassieke schilderkunst met fotografie.
En plein air @ the Northsea
I was taken totally out of my comfortzone by accepting the invitation to help painting the fast changing coastline of Holland en plein air on a boat at sea. Painting, with oils!, was allmost impossible because of the wind and rain.
White Arena
The White Arena is a perfect round exhibitionspace in a huge printed dome at artist community Nieuw & Meer Amsterdam. It gives one the chance to experiment and try out new things during a one day show. I created for the occasion drawings with ink on paper and Rienus painted a ‘Vaserely’ backdrop.

It was a hectic summer but quite an educational experience.

Arti Museumnight 2012
For Arti et Amicitiae, biggest artist club of Amsterdam, I organised a big happening called “Darkness and Obscurity’ in November as part of the yearly cities museumnight.
